Consisting of six of the class championships, with an overall ranking table to allow sailors to compare their performance across the season. This new format is already generating larger fleets as sailors are focussed on fewer events. For 2008 it is great that Allen Brothers are sponsoring the Nationwide Series with a variety of great prizes to be won. Each event sees a prize draw for Allen Products, including ratchet blocks and cleats, plus lots of other goodies to be won. At the final event at Shustoke SC, there will also be an additional draw which will see one lucky sailor walk away with additional prizes, entry to this draw will be based on the number of events you have entered, so the more events you compete in, the greater the chance of winning this great prize, and remember you will need to be at the prize giving. As these prizes are awarded on a draw basis, everyone has a chance of winning, regardless of your overall race positions.
