Just when you thought not a lot was going on in the development office, www.ukmirrorsailing.com can now publish it's first proper web gallery. Those of you who have been with the site a long time may remember we piloted a gallery in the messageboard section last summer, but decided to create an entirely new area so the messageboard performance wouldn't be affected.
Gallery Policies
All our photographs have been taken by members of the development team or have been kindly donated. We have decided to adopt a free-distribution policy FOR PRIVATE USE so if you'd like one of our pictures on your desktop or to print out to give to Granny, then that's fine; just right click over the image you want and hit 'save as...'.If you would like to use any photograph as part of an advertising scheme or with any form of publicity then we ask that you obtain the site's permission before doing so. We may well then require a small awknolwedgement somewhere on the photograph, which we will supply. Failure to comply with these regulations shall be considered a breech of copyright and will be treated as such.
These are stern words with a light hearted intention - we'd like to see you get as much enjoyment from these photographs as possible
so read this once then just be aware of it!Submission of photographs
If you've got a corker of a photo that you'd like to see on the site then please email it to photos@ukmirrorsailing.com and if it's not too rude we'll put it online for you.Printing of Photographs
We have some pretty nifty photo printing kit at our disposal - if you would like a printed copy of any of the pictures on the site then once again, please email photos@ukmirrorsailing.com with a link to the photo, what size and how many copies you'd like. We can print anything up to and including A3, and all photos are printed using fade-resistant dyes on glossy kodak photo-paper. There is no loss in quality in the printing process.Prices will be given in reply to your email, along with payment instructions, but the approx. cost of printouts is something like:
A5 - £5
A4 - £10
A3 - £15.delivery costs will vary on the size and quanities of the images, and the destination.
