Navigators & General 50th Birthday Celebration Weekend

Details of the 50th Birthday Celebration weekend at Northhampton on 13th & 14th July have been finalised and a poster for the event (above) is now available for download. You can enter online via SailRacer here http://www.sailracer.org/events/event-v2.asp?eventid=168399 . The small entry fee will be donated to Asthma UK in memory of Steve Nicholson, who suffered a fatal asthma attack in his early 30s. Steve was a keen sailor (including Mirrors) and worked at the local chandlery P&B and Northampton SC was his local club.

Scrolling slideshow help On Sunday 19th May the conditions were perfect in the perfect sailing venue, a force 3, dry, with the sun making a full appearance at the end of the afternoon. Three races were held, with lunch after race 1 to socialise and relax. Ten Mirrors turned out, with four visitors.There was a terrific mix of those entering their first traveller away from their own club to the seasoned adult to national squad talent. We had terrific sponsorship from Gul, with £50 gift vouchers a piece for the helm and crew in first place!

NeilPryde Junior National Championships at Northampton Sailing Club 11th and 12th May

Well the Mirror class’s first big event this year was held at Northampton where we were welcomed by a lovely club and co-operative members. This event was our equivalent of the Eric Twiname Championships and was very well-represented by the whole of the Mirror Class with people competing from all ends of the country.
