Saturday 4^th of September saw the mirror north east traveller at Ripon. The day started off sunny with hardly any wind but thankfully as the first race drew near the wind filled in slightly and was just about enough to start. The race saw a good tussle between Eddie Grayson and Matt Foster, and Matt and Ben Lulham-Robinson,

Mirrors at Bassenthwaite Sailing Club’s Bassweek Regatta

The Regatta was held over nine days and finished on 8th August. There was a discrete class for the Mirror Fleet with its own Trophies and glassware although a joint line start with the Toppers was specified. There were twelve Mirror helms participating over the “Week” although not everyone contested each day’s events.

Yorkshire Dales North East Mirror Open 2010

This year’s North East Traveller event hosted by the Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club took place on Saturday 9 July.  A good turnout of 11 boats took to the water in fairly high and gusty winds, though these did drop a little during the day.  It was testament to the skill of all those who took part that they coped with the conditions and provided a very high standard of racing.
