Tim Zilkha acquired the boat as ‘new secondhand’ in 1975 from a lady in Sidcup who won it in a raffle and she left it in her dining room. He sailed it extensively in Chichester harbour in 1970s and 80s. Sailed less so in recent years & on reservoirs.

This boat is now for sale for £700
I have reluctantly decided to sell my Mirror dinghy, complete, after some years of not using it. It has always been stored under cover in a well-ventilated carport.
It is complete and original with:-
- Alloy Gunter main mast
- Jack Holt sails very little use
- Original Jeckell sails also present
- Jack Holt spinnaker and chute/pole
- Oars and rowlocks
- Thick ply outboard bracket on transom
- Jack Holt boom up cover
- Satellite galvanised trailer and spare wheel
- Galvanised launching trolley unused.
Currently in white yacht enamel and varnished interior, so pretty standard.
RYA measured in class years ago.
To use it, although completely sound, I would repaint the hull and revarnish the interior but there’s nothing wrong with it and it looks very presentable as it is.
