This weekend was the Eric Twiname Championships, where all of the zones competed. Throughout the weekend it was very warm and sunny. 

The first day was a shifty and dying northerly wind and unfortunately the last race had to be abandoned as there wasn’t enough wind. The second day was an increasing south-westerly wind (up to 20 knot gusts) and there were a few capsizes.

All the results were very close. 3^rd girl and 4^th overall were Chloe Macaulay and Isobel Leroux from South Staffs SC. The top three results were very close; they all had 8 points, but in the end due to countback Max Odell and Finley Boon from Hayling Island SC finished 3^rd, Rachel Grayson and George Richards from Beaver SC finished 2^nd girl and 2^nd overall, then in 1^st girl and 1^st overall were Jo Kalderon and Sally Lorimer from Itchenor and Warsash SC.  The winning squad was the South.     

After the sailing on Saturday we all played a game of human football which was really fun but unfortunately none of the Mirror sailors made the final.
