The first step to planning your Mirror Campaign for 2013 is to renew your Mirror Class Association membership.
All membership needs renewing on the 1st January 2013,
The types of membership are:
-
Family Membership - £40 for a family owning an International Mirror Dinghy, includes children under the age of 19 years.
-
Individual Membership - £30 for an individual who is an owner, or joint owner, of an International Mirror Class Dinghy.
-
Crew Membership - £20 for an individual who is not an owner, or family member, but wants to crew at Association events.
Just click here to renew your membership for the Mirror Class Association today, any membership renew now will be valid until the end of 2013.

RYA National Junior Squad at Poole 8th & 9th November |

On the 8th and 9th December the RYA National Junior Squad arrived fresh and ready for a good weekend of training at Poole. The 420s were there for their own training some of which were ex-mirror sailors and it was great for everyone to catch up including parents.

NYDS North, West Lancs Training Weekend 1st/2nd December |

Last weekend the 13 boats in the North NYDS were at West Lancs Yacht Club for our second coaching weekend. It was another brilliant weekend with a mixture of training, fun, and competitive racing. The main focus of the Saturday was starting, so we concentrated on slow boat handling, stopping, hovering and trigger-pulls. The wind was very light and shifty at the start but built through the day.

Last weekend, the 24th-25th November the National Youth Development Squad South squad had their third training weekend at Queen Mary Sailing Club. This was our first session inland so far, to be followed by a second at Datchet. There were only 6 out of the 10 boats normally there on Saturday morning so there was more coaching all around. It was around 14-15 knots and we went out to the other end of the reservoir.
