Mirror Week is the ultimate family sailing week where all the racing can be seen from the main beach.  The emphasis is to get youngsters on the water sailing.  There are 2 races each day in the morning lasting approximately 45 minutes.  Mums and Dads who wish to introduce their children to racing can do so in a very relaxed atmosphere.  There are crew changes between races facilitated by rescue boats bringing the new crews to the racing area at the end of the first race. 

There is competitive racing from the front of the fleet to the back, and also some helpful coaching for those at the back of the fleet.

For those wanting to improve their skill, or try sailing without a parent in the boat for the first time  a short triangular course will be available in the afternoon to practice on with rescue and coaches on the water.

A social program of a beach BBQ, Mirror Drive (similar to a beetle drive) with a dinner and a karaoke night in the club bar helps make this a great family sailing week
