The Mirror with over 70,000 boats built, is the World's most popular doublehanded sailing dinghy. The Mirror was designed to be easily built at home by anyone with even the most basic DIY skills, this gave a low cost of ownership and the class has probably been responsible for introducing more to sailing than any other boat. The Mirror's light weight and efficient hull design has given a boat that is a joy to sail. For beginners the Mirror is easy to sail, but its highly tuneable rig has plenty to challenge even the most experienced sailor. Many top sailors including Olympic Medal winners and World Champions learnt their trade in a Mirror.

Modern Mirrors are now available either with wood hulls or GRP for those looking for low maintenance.
