About the AGM

Above is the official AGM calling notice and agenda. The Association belongs to all of us, so it is essential that as many members as possible come to the meeting. If you would like something discussed at the AGM, just let us know and we will add it to the AOB, but we will only discuss it if you are there.

If you want to submit a motion or rule change, you must be a voting member, that is Family or Single, and let us know in advance in writing with another voting member seconding your proposal. The official notice is to the Secretary 14 days prior to the meeting.

We have a volunteer committee and we are always looking for new people to get involved and inject a bit of enthusiasm into the class. Very often committee members hang on beyond their "sell by date", because nobody else is willing to take over. If you are willing to get involved, please let us know as soon as possible.

Please remember, Family members have only one vote, this means that either adult may stand or propose a rule or motion, but spouse/partner may not second them. Also it means that if two members from one family membership are on the committee or at a meeting they cannot have two votes.
