I have a wooden Mirror Dinghy, 29760, that requires significant restoration. It is in a poor sate of repair, I am sorry to say. I really don't know whether it can be restored to good order or not, but I am reluctant to put it in a skip until I am sure that it's condition is irretrievable. I am looking to either give it to anyone that might make good use of it (they would have to collect it) or if it is really beyond salvage then pay the council to take it away. The sails have disintegrated so do need replaced.

I have a note of the sail number. The mast, centreboard and rudder are OK so even if the dinghy itself is not useful those few items might help restore another Mirror of similar vintage.

If there is someone who thinks they might be prepared to take this on then I will send some more photos in the first instance and they can come and have a look by arrangement with me.

The dinghy is on what was once a road-worthy trailer but this too has deteriorated. It can likely also be restored but can't be relied upon to take the dinghy away at this point.
