A wooden Mirror dinghy on a trolley in a garden

Wood hull built by Jeremy Bow . Used exclusively for cruising from then until about 1979.

In storage, for the last 20 years+ it was stored in Jeremy Bow's garage.

This boat was advertised as available free to a good home

I need to let the Mirror go, as being now in my 70’s (although still sailing), I’ve come to recognise I won’t using a it again! I do not feel the need to ask anything for it, just preferring that it can be passed on to someone else in which it may inspire a life of sailing, as it did for me.

Home built in 1974 and used exclusively for cruising from then until about 1979, the dinghy has been in storage ever since.

It still looks smart and I consider it to be in a seaworthy condition. I attach a couple of images taken last year. More similar ones are available.

Accessories include:-

  • Launching trolley, as new, used only for boat mobility within the garage.
  • Road trailer, disassembled, and requires maintenance.
  • A-frames and tarpaulin, which together with the metal Gunter mast as ridge pole, provide a fully weather-proof cover.
  • Lighting/number plate board for towing
  • Jib stick
  • Anchor and warp
