The MCA Winter Squad is a group of Mirror sailors who want to do some race training during the winter, but fall outside the selection critera for the RYA Mirror Zone or National Junior Squads. The squad receives some funding from the RYA via the MCA's Open Coaching program. Typically Winter Squad sailors vary in range in age from 10 to 17 years old.
If there are any other Mirror sailors who want to join do some winter training, please contact the UK Mirror Class Association secretary Peter Robinson. as new crews wishing to join in the training are always welcome.
