The Mirror Eastern Area Championships took place over the weekend of 6th/7th September 2003. A good entry of nearly thirty boats had an interesting weekend of sailing.
The Mirror Eastern Area Championships was held at Deben Yacht club over the weekend of the 15th and 16th June. Race 1 was won by Steve and Juliet Long from Plymouth Yacht Club, second was Craig and Mitchell Bond from Brightlingsea and third was Rosie Chapman and Josh Pritchard from Mounts Bay.
Only six boats entered but the competition was hot with the newly crowned Inland Champion in attendance. The winds were very light on the Saturday and it saw three different winners in each race.
