Mirror sailors wanting to move onto an RYA Pathway Youth Class are invited to a "try a boat" day on Monday May 2nd at Grafham Water SC. Classes that will be available to try are:

The Mirror Class Association stand at the RYA Dinghy Show looked splendid and was as busy as ever with visitors interested in buying new or secondhand, trying out the competition for a 2017 Mirror Worlds wristband, asking wide ranging enqueries from how to find out if an old boat had a measurement certificate to upgrading to better kicking strap, or just wanting to talk Mirrors.
We are looking to rejuvenate our Mirror fleet at the St Edmundsbury Sailing & Canoeing Association. SESCA is based at Lackford Lake, 5 miles NW of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. It is the only sailing club in West Suffolk, Mid Suffolk and SW Norfolk. The Club was founded in 1981 and by 1984 was predominantly a Mirror club. Numbers have dropped off in recent years but we are seeing a resurgence in interest in the class and should like to regrow the fleet. We currently have four Mirrors sailing regularly, one of which is a Club boat that is available for hire to members.
Following its success last year, Push The Boat Out will run from 14th to 22nd May. For clubs seeking to reach new audiences, Push The Boat Out offers a unique opportinity to take part in a Nationwide campaign, host open days and events to encourage people to give sailing a go.
