wide entry spinnaker system was created by mgr1
I want to fit a wide entry spinnaker system in place of the usual white plastic entry arrangement since my crew sometimes finds it hard to pull a wet spinnaker through the mouth of the plastic system.

Starboard previously used to market a very nice wide entry spinnaker chute system which I have just seen fitted to several Mirrors at the Northerns at Covenham.

Does anyone have plans for the original starboard system or a similar design I could copy and make up in ply. Also where does the mesh netting for the chute come from. Alternatively does anyone have a second hand ex-starboard wide entry chute system for sale?

help appreciated (martin rumsby, mgr1@york.ac.uk )

Martin,
Is this a similar set up to that in Guy Wilkins book, Mirror Racing?
I don't know if you own a copy so I'll fetch mine along to the club on wednesday evening, I'm sure between us we can come up with some sort of workable plan
