This mirror was purchased to sail in club races. I have sailed a few times single handed but realised this wasn’t the boat for me. It has a good solid hull and when I did capsize the self-bailer worked perfectly and soon got rid of the water.
It comes with the Bermuda rig, which is fairly new and much easier to rig than the Gunter rig which it also has. I raced with the one piece mast. The boat has been recently varnished and is good to cruise or join in a race at your local club.
- Trident 2 piece Bermuda mast with shrouds and halyards, only a couple of years old.
- Aluminium boom for Bermuda rig
- Gunter rig with alloy gunter mast, wooden gaff and boom.
- Solid hull, no leaks, recently varnished
- Self-bailer
- Set of sails plus an old set of Jeckell sails
- 2 spinnakers, spinnaker chute and pole. Not set up for spinnaker, but easily converted.
- Flat cover, split mast Bermuda rig will fit inside.
- Road trailer, not Mirror specific, old but has been used recently, new tyres
- Trolley, not mirror specific
- As it was measured and a certificate issued by the MCA, the RYA will issue a new certificate on the strength of the MCA Index card.
As it has 2 options of rig, I can offer you the basic gunter rig and all fittings for £250 or for £450 the nearly new trident one piece Bermuda mast as well.
