Seven Mirrors arrived on Saturday at Pennine SC to join in with the Mirror
training coached by Peter Lulham-Robison with the aim of improving spinnaker
hoists, drops and gybes. The plentiful wind saw a few capsizes and a good
days sailing was had by all, followed by a well earned BBQ for these camping over night.
Sunday produced a breezy and shifty wind from the NE. Race 1 got underway.
Will Hide and Emma Clayton were first round the
windward mark closely followed by Rachel & Matt Grayson and Richard & Adi Benson.
Unfortunately Hide and Clayton capsized on one of the gybe marks. By the leeward

Beaver Winter Series Day 3
We arrived at Beaver Sailing Club to find that it was a perfect sailing day. It was an open training event; however, it was also the 3rd day of the Winter Series as there had been no wind the previous Saturday. The RYA North Zone Squad were also getting ready for the Eric Twinname Championships the following weekend.
